Credit Card is a Common Economy Joker which allows you to have up to $20 in debt. It means you can spend an additional $20, even if your money is $0.

Note that if you're in debt and you sell the Credit Card, you cannot purchase anything until you climb out of the negatives.

• Green Deck ( At end of each Round: <br> {{Money|2}} per remaining {{hl|blue|Hand}} <br> {{Money|1}} per remaining {{hl|red|Discard}} <br> Earn no {{hl|orange|Interest}} Discover at least {{hl|orange|75}} items from your [[collection]] Green Deck.png) does not generate interest based on current money, which means being in debt does not hinder your income.
• Luxury Tax ( ): When playing this challenge deck, hand size decreases by 1 for every $5, meaning that with a single credit card, the hand size can be increased by up to 4. Additionally, having a credit card makes it easier to avoid the hand size penalty while still being able to buy items from the shop.

• Vagabond (Create a [[Tarot Cards|{{hl|purple|Tarot}}]] card if hand is played with {{Money|4}} or less Rare Effect Independent Vagabond.png) allows you to get Tarot cards every time you play a hand with $4 or less. Staying in debt with the Credit Card assures you will create many Tarot cards.
• Credit Card (): Although the wording may make it seem otherwise, multiple copies do stack, allowing you to go up to $40 in debt with two, up to $60 with three, etc., if that's something you would want.

• The Ox ( Boss The Ox.png): Playing your most played hand this run sets money to $0, which can be used to wipe out Credit Card's debt.
• The Tooth ( Boss The Tooth.png): Losing money is less detrimental with the ability to go into debt, but be careful, as you may lose a lot of money and go deeply below -$20.

• Wraith (Creates a random [[Rare Jokers|{{hl|red|Rare}} {{hl|orange|Joker}}]], sets money to {{$|0}} Available from start. Spectral Wraith.png) sets your money to $0 after use, meaning you gain money if your balance was below $0.

• Rich get Richer ( ): Since chips cannot exceed the current money, being in debt will prevent the player from scoring any points at all.

• To the Moon (Earn an extra {{Money|1}} of {{hl|orange|interest}} for every {{Money|5}} you have at end of round Uncommon Economy N/A (Passive) To the Moon.png): Without any money, no interest can be generated.
• Bull ({{Chips|+2}} for each {{$|1}} you have <br> {{currently|{{chips|+0}}}} Uncommon Chips Independent Bull.png) does not have any effect if you don't have any money.
• Bootstraps ({{Mult|+2}} for every {{Money|5}} you have <br> {{Currently|{{Mult|+0}}}} Have at least {{hl|orange|2}} {{hl|edition|Polychrome}} Jokers at the same time. Uncommon Additive Mult Independent Bootstraps.png) also has no effect for the same reason.

• Seed Money (Raise the cap on interest earned in each round to {{Money|10}} Base Seed Money.png) and Money Tree (Raise the cap on interest earned in each round to {{Money|20}} Max out the interest per round earnings for ten consecutive rounds Upgraded Money Tree.png): No interest can be earned if the player is in debt.

• The Hermit (Doubles money<br>{{hl|grey|(Max of {{Money|20}})}} Available from start. Tarot The Hermit.png) Tarot card (which normally doubles your money) gives no money if you have $0 or less.

• The Inflation ( ) challenge starts the player with a copy of Credit Card.
• The Golden Needle ( ) challenge starts the player with a copy of Credit Card.

• During the second demo, Credit Card cost $2 to buy. This was changed to $1 upon release, making Credit Card the cheapest Joker without using any Vouchers. It is also unique in that it can be bought and sold for the same price, meaning players can pick it up and later sell it and get a full refund. This may be a reference to the fact that in real life, most common credit cards are often free to apply for and have no annual fees.
• Unlike other displayed money in game, the -$20 in the effect of credit card is in red. This is a reference to the red ink used in ledgers to show negative balances or losses.
• The card number on the card is entirely fictional, and does not correspond with any real-world providers. However, it can be broken down into:
  • 867-5309, the phone number featured in the popular song of the same name by Tommy Tutone.
  • 420 and 69, two numbers commonly used in memes and Internet-based humor.
  • 1234, simply the first four numerals, often used in dummy credit card numbers. Interestingly, a 2012 study found that the 4-digit PIN 1234 is the most widely used out of all other combinations.
• The full name of J. Joker Jr. on the credit card is Jerry Joker Jr according to LocalThunk.^[1]
• Credit Card is one of the few non-effect Jokers to have a consistent, unconditional, unchanging effect. The others are Joker ({{Mult|+4}} Common Additive Mult Independent Joker.png) and Golden Joker (Earn {{Money|4}} at end of round Common Economy N/A (Passive) Golden_Joker.png).
