Trading Card is an Uncommon Economy Joker that gives $3 from discarding a single card on their very first discard each round, once per Blind. The discarded card will be destroyed, allowing the player to thin their deck and find their desired cards more easily.

• If the player holds multiple copies of Trading Card, they still only apply to the first discard, and each gives $3.

• Red Deck ( {{hl|red|+1}} discard every round Unlocked from start Red Deck.png) gives +1 Discard, allowing Trading Card to be used with fewer consequences.

• In the early game, Trading Card tends to work best with hands that are more likely to be drawn, since it requires "wasting" a discard.
• However, Trading Card is one of the strongest enablers for more difficult hands by the mid/late game, as removing a third to a half of the deck makes certain difficult hand types significantly easier to assemble.

• Hologram (This Joker gains {{xmult|0.25}} every time a {{hl|orange|playing card}} is added to your deck <br> {{Currently|{{xmult|1}}}} Uncommon Multiplicative Mult Independent Hologram.gif) scales on adding cards. By using Trading Card, cards can be added without bloating the deck.
• Mystic Summit ({{Mult|+15}} when {{hl|orange|0}} discards remaining Common Additive Mult Independent Mystic Summit.png) gains +15 Mult after using up all discards, making the discard used for Trading Card less consequential.
• Burnt Joker (Upgrade the level of the first {{hl|orange|discarded}} poker hand each round Sell 50 cards. Rare Effect On Discard Burnt Joker.png) can have potential synergy if the player wishes to play High Cards.

• Purple Seal (Creates a {{Tarot|}} card when {{hl|orange|discarded}}<br>{{room}} Purple Seal.png) activates before the destruction, resulting in both a Tarot card and $3.

• Wasteful (Permanently gain {{hl|red|+1}} discard each round Base Wasteful.png) and Recyclomancy (Permanently gain an additional {{hl|red|+1}} discard each round Discard a total of 2500 cards Upgraded Recyclomancy.png) both give +1 discard, allowing Trading Card to be used with fewer consequences.

• The Hook ( Boss The Hook.png)'s discard can activate Trading Card after playing a hand if there is only one card held in hand. Because this discard does not count toward the player's discards, Trading Card will activate every time players play a hand that leaves only one card held in hand, making this the only time Trading Card can be used multiple times in a blind.
• This Joker is very easy to locate when playing against Amber Acorn ( Showdown Amber Acorn.png), as it still shakes even when flipped face-down.

• Blast Off ( ) starts with 2 discards, making Trading Card harder to use.

• Jokers that discourage discarding do not benefit from the required discard to activate Trading Card.

• Blue Joker ({{Chips|+2}} for each remaining card in {{hl|orange|deck}} <br> {{currently|{{chips|+104}}}} Common Chips Independent Blue Joker.png) gives +2 Chips for each remaining card in the deck. By reducing the number of cards in the deck, this Joker becomes weaker.
• Burglar (When [[Blind|{{hl|orange|Blind}}]] is selected, gain {{hl|blue|+3}} Hands and {{hl|orange|lose all discards}} Uncommon Effect On Blind Select Burglar.png) removes all discards, rendering Trading Card unusable.

• The Water ( Boss The Water.png) starts with 0 discards, meaning Trading Card cannot be used.

• Blue Stake starts with -1 discard, making Trading Card harder to use.

• The effect of Trading Card references the practice of selling single trading cards for money. In this case, "selling" (discarding) a single card for $3.
  • However, it's still considered as destroying rather than selling in game, thus it has no interaction with Campfire (This Joker gains {{xmult|0.25}} for each card {{hl|orange|sold}}, resets when [[Blinds|{{hl|orange|Boss Blind}}]] is defeated <br> {{currently|{{xmult|1}}}} Rare Multiplicative Mult Independent Campfire.png).
