Seed Money is a voucher that raises the cap on interest earned after defeating a Blind to $10. This means that you can earn interest with up to $50 in reserve. The extra income from Seed Money almost always makes it a worthy investment, especially as it unlocks the Money Tree (Raise the cap on interest earned in each round to {{Money|20}} Max out the interest per round earnings for ten consecutive rounds Upgraded Money Tree.png) voucher.

• The The Omelette ( ) challenge bans Seed Money.
• The Rich get Richer ( ) challenge starts with a copy of Seed Money () and Money Tree (Raise the cap on interest earned in each round to {{Money|20}} Max out the interest per round earnings for ten consecutive rounds Upgraded Money Tree.png).

• Luxury Tax ( ) receives little benefit from Seed Money as in order to take advantage of its high interest, the player would want high starting money, which this deck punishes.

• Vagabond (Create a [[Tarot Cards|{{hl|purple|Tarot}}]] card if hand is played with {{Money|4}} or less Rare Effect Independent Vagabond.png) encourages playing without earning interest, making Seed Money useless.
• Credit Card (Go up to {{hl|red|-$20}} in debt Common Economy N/A (Passive) Credit Card.png) enables going $20 in debt, well below the minimum interest level.

• "Seed money" is a technical term referring to the initial investment of capital that new projects or businesses receive when they are not self-sustaining and need help covering initial expenses such as marketing, research, or office space. The voucher giving extra interest reflects this; the player is given a little extra income to help sustain their run but not enough to the point where they can carelessly spend.
