Smiley Face is a Common Additive Mult Joker that adds +5 Mult for each scored Face Card in a hand.

• Erratic Deck ( All [[Card Ranks|{{hl|orange|Ranks}}]] and [[Suits|{{hl|orange|Suits}}]] in deck are randomized Win a run with any [[Decks|deck]] on the {{Stake|Orange}} difficulty or harder Erratic Deck.png) can synergize with Smiley Face if it's randomized to have lots of Face Cards.
• Red Deck ( {{hl|red|+1}} discard every round Unlocked from start Red Deck.png)'s extra discard can be used to dig for more face cards in the player's deck.
• Painted Deck ( {{hl|orange|+2}} hand size, <br> {{hl|red|-1}} Joker slot Win a run with any [[Decks|deck]] on the {{Stake|Green}} difficulty or harder Painted Deck.png) has a larger hand size, allowing for more face cards to appear. However, the -1 Joker slot means Smiley Face may not be as viable as some other options.
• Mad World ( ) starts with an Eternal Pareidolia (All cards are considered {{hl|orange|face}} cards Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Pareidolia.png), which makes every card scored provide +5 Mult.

• Two Pair and especially Full House work best with this Joker in the early game.
• Four of a Kind, Five of a Kind, and Flush Five work well with this Joker in the late game.

• Pareidolia (All cards are considered {{hl|orange|face}} cards Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Pareidolia.png) makes every card scored provide +5 Mult, effectively making every card a slightly better Mult Card ({{mult|+4}} Mult Card.png).
• Sock and Buskin (Retrigger all played {{hl|orange|face}} cards Play a total of {{hl|orange|300}} face cards Uncommon Retrigger On Scored Sock and Buskin.png) will add an additional +5 Mult per face card scored.
• Triboulet (Played Kings and Queens each give {{xmult|2}} when scored Find this [[Jokers|Joker]] from the [[Spectral Cards|{{hl|sblue|Soul}}]] card. Legendary Multiplicative Mult On Scored Triboulet.png) provides a Mult multiplier for each played King or Queen.
• Business Card (Played {{hl|orange|face}} cards have a {{hl|green|1 in 2}} chance to give {{Money|2}} when scored Common Economy On Scored Business_Card.png) gives each face card played a 50% chance to provide $2 when scored.
• Scary Face (Played {{hl|orange|face}} cards give {{Chips|+30}} when scored Common Chips On Scored Scary Face.png) provides additional Chips for each face card played.
• Splash (Every {{hl|orange|played card}} counts in scoring Common Effect N/A (Passive) Splash.png) causes all face cards played to provide +5 Mult.

• Baron (Each {{hl|orange|King}} held in hand gives {{xmult|1.5}} Rare Multiplicative Mult On Held Baron.png), Shoot the Moon (Each {{hl|orange|Queen}} held in hand gives {{mult|+13}} Play every Heart card in your deck in one round. Common Additive Mult On Held Shoot the Moon.png), and Reserved Parking (Each {{hl|orange|face}} card held in hand has a {{hl|green|1 in 2}} chance to give {{Money|1}} Common Economy On Held Reserved Parking.png) encourage not playing face cards.
• Ride the Bus (This Joker gains {{Mult|+1}} per {{hl|orange|consecutive}} hand played without a scoring {{hl|orange|face}} card <br> {{Currently|{{Mult|+0}}}} Common Additive Mult Mixed Ride the Bus.png) actively punishes playing face cards.
• Canio (This Joker gains {{xmult|1}} when a {{hl|orange|face}} card is destroyed <br> {{currently|{{xmult|1}}}} Find this [[Jokers|Joker]] from the [[Spectral Cards|{{hl|sblue|Soul}}]] card. Legendary Multiplicative Mult Mixed Canio.png)'s ability activates only upon destroying face cards, resulting in fewer cards able to trigger Smiley Face.

• The Plant ( Boss The Plant.png) debuffs all faces, which prevents Smiley Face from giving any mult.

• Abandoned Deck ( Start run with no {{F|}}[[Card Ranks#Face cards|{{hl|orange|Face Cards}}]] in your deck Win a run with the {{D|Green}} on [[Stakes|any difficulty]] Abandoned Deck.png) and Medusa ( ) do not work well with Smiley Face, due to their initial lack of face cards.
