Banner is a Common Chips Joker that provides +30 Chips for each remaining discard when a hand is played.

• Blast Off ( ) is even worse than above, as this deck not only starts with 2 hands, which already encourages the player to rely on Discards to find winning hands, but it also only starts with 2 discards, which means Banner gives fewer Chips than usual.

Without heavy deck modifying, strong hands like Flush, Straight, and Full House will be hard to assemble without using Discards.

• Burglar (When [[Blind|{{hl|orange|Blind}}]] is selected, gain {{hl|blue|+3}} Hands and {{hl|orange|lose all discards}} Uncommon Effect On Blind Select Burglar.png) removes all discards, rendering Banner useless.
• Any Jokers that incentivize discarding, like Burnt Joker (Upgrade the level of the first {{hl|orange|discarded}} poker hand each round Sell 50 cards. • On Blue Stake and higher, having one less discard means that Banner provides fewer Chips by default.

• Banner is a reference to the banner, a specific type of card in Swiss adapted cards, which is represented as a flag (banner is the German word for flag) and equivalent to rank 10 in common playing cards.^[1] Its art also resembles the design of banner cards in Swiss adapted cards.
• Banner is the only joker to appear on the front of Jumbo Buffoon Packs.
