Vouchers:

Inflation is a Challenge Deck. Each time a card is purchased, the prices of all items will be increased by $1. Note that this also includes the base price of held Jokers and Consumables, meaning their sell value will also slowly increase.
Starting Contents
The starting deck contains the standard 52 cards, as well as a
Credit Card (Go up to red in debt Common Economy N/A (Passive) Credit Card.png).
Synergies
As each purchase increases the price of future items, it is important to pick up disposable Jokers to clear early Antes, then sell them once better ones are available (preferably scaling Jokers).
Egg (Gains 3 of orange at end of round Common Economy N/A (Passive) Egg.png) and
Gift Card (Add 1 of orange to every orange and orange card at end of round Uncommon Economy N/A (Passive) Gift Card.png) can inflate selling prices greatly and can recover money after making an expensive purchase.
Swashbuckler (Adds the sell value of all other owned orange to Mult <br> Sell a total of orange Joker cards Common Additive Mult Independent Swashbuckler.png) will provide a high amount of + Mult since it will scale when other Jokers' prices inflate.
Riff-Raff (When orange is selected, create orange blue orange <br> room Common Effect On Blind Select Riff-Raff.png) is an excellent source of money since the generated common Jokers still inherit the inflated sell prices.
Ceremonial Dagger (When orange is selected, destroy Joker to the right and permanently add orange its sell value to this red <br> Uncommon Additive Mult Independent Ceremonial Dagger.png) will scale very fast thanks to Jokers' inflated sell prices.
- Jokers that create cards such as
Cartomancer (Create a purple card when orange is selected <br> room Discover every Tarot Card. Uncommon Effect On Blind Select Cartomancer.png),
Vagabond (Create a purple card if hand is played with 4 or less Rare Effect Independent Vagabond.png),
8 Ball (green chance for each played orange to create a purple card when scored<br>room Common Effect On Scored 8_Ball.png), and
Certificate (When round begins, add a random orange with a random orange to your hand Have a Gold playing card with a orange Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Certificate.png) (
Purple Seals (Creates a card when orange<br>room Purple Seal.png) and
Blue Seals (Creates the card for final played orange of round if orange in hand<br>room Blue Seal.png)) can help provide sources of tarots or planets that don't increase shop prices.
Uncommon Tag ( Uncommon tag.png),
Rare Tag ( Discover Blueprint Rare tag.png),
Negative Tag ( Discover the Negative edition Negative tag.png),
Foil Tag ( Discover the Foil edition Foil tag.png),
Holographic Tag ( Discover the Holographic edition Holographic tag.png), and
Polychrome Tag ( Discover the Polychrome edition Polychrome tag.png) can be valuable to pick up a guaranteed free Joker with editions if players are low on money and desperately need something to fill up their Joker slot.
- The
Coupon Tag ( Coupon tag.png) is very powerful in the late game, allowing players to have a free shop to pick up and sell stuff for a quick econ recovery.
Anti-Synergies
- While not useless during this challenge, do note that free planet cards provided by
Astronomer (All cyan cards and cyan in the shop are orange Discover every card Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Astronomer.png) do increase prices in the shop even though they are free, meaning that it becomes somewhat less helpful.
- Jokers that require a high amount of purchases to function, like
Fortune Teller (+1 per purple card used this run <br> Common Additive Mult Independent Fortune Teller.png),
Campfire (This Joker gains 0.25 for each card orange, resets when orange is defeated <br> Rare Multiplicative Mult Independent Campfire.png), and
Constellation (This Joker gains 0.1 every time a cyan card is used <br> Uncommon Multiplicative Mult Independent Constellation.png), are considerably harder to make work.
Trivia
- The name of this deck references the economic concept of inflation, an increase in the price of goods and services.
