Swashbuckler is a Common Additive Mult Joker that provides + Mult equal to the sum of the sell value of all other owned Jokers. This Joker is unlocked once the player sells 20 Jokers.

• Black Deck ( {{hl|orange|+1}} Joker slot <br> {{hl|blue|-1}} hand every round Discover at least {{hl|orange|100}} items from your [[collection]] Black Deck.png) gives an extra Joker slot, meaning Swashbuckler gets more Mult.
• Similarly, Five-Card Draw ( ) gives two extra Joker slots, meaning Swashbuckler gets even more Mult.
• Swashbuckler generally works well with negative Jokers, as they will increase the amount of Joker slots while also having substantial sell values of their own. Therefore, the Anaglyph Deck ( After defeating each [[Blinds|{{hl|orange|Boss Blind}}]], gain a [[File:Double tag.png|24px]] [[Tags|{{hl|orange|Double Tag}}]] Win a run with any [[Decks|deck]] on the {{Stake|Black}} difficulty or harder Anaglyph Deck.png) can synergize with Swashbuckler, where many players will opt to use their accumulating Double Tag ( Double tag.png) on a Negative Tag ( Discover the {{edition|Negative}} edition Negative tag.png).

• Inflation ( ) might work with Swashbuckler, as this deck permanently increases prices by $1 on every purchase, including the sell price. This Joker can provide a high amount of + Mult since it will scale when other Jokers' prices inflate.

Generally, Swashbuckler gets more benefits when it is with higher-rarity Jokers due to their higher sell values. In particular, the Legendary Jokers have a massive sell value of $10, which is double that of the next highest base sell value.

• Gold Stake introduces Rental Stickers (), which only have a sell value of $1.

• Swashbucklers in fiction tend to be heroic types skilled in swordplay, acrobatics, and charm, ready to rescue princesses and with a strong sense of honour. Famous swashbucklers include Robin Hood, The Three Musketeers, and the Princess Bride's Dread Pirate Roberts.
• Swashbuckler's default value in the Collection is +1 Mult, implying that there is a Joker in possession while in the Main Menu. If checked when in a run with no Jokers, the description will instead say (Currently +0 Mult).
