Four Fingers is an Uncommon effect-type Joker that allows you to make Straights or Flushes using four cards instead of five. (Five cards can still be used for higher-scoring hands.)

Straights can score the same number multiple times using this card. For example, a hand with a 2, 3, 4, and two 5's will score all five cards as a straight.

Straight Flushes become more achievable with this joker, as a five-card hand that contains a 4-card Straight and a 4-card Flush will be considered to be a Straight Flush. For example, in a hand of 2♠️ 3♠️ 4♦️ 5♠️ 10♠️, the 2 3 4 5 make a straight of four cards, and the 2 3 5 10 make a flush of four cards, together being counted as a Straight Flush.

• Checkered Deck ( Start run with {{hl|orange|26}} {{suit|Spades}} and {{hl|orange|26}} {{suit|Hearts}} in deck Win a run with the {{D|Black}} on any difficulty Checkered Deck.png): Having only two suits allows a Straight Flush to be formed much easier.

• Straights and flushes become easier to make as you can score them with only 4 cards, but the biggest benefit will be with the highest scoring, flush-based hands like Straight Flush, Flush House, or Flush Five. Straight flushes, especially, become much easier with Four Fingers as both the "flush" and "straight" parts can be made with 4 different cards out of the 5 played, as described above.
  • Specifically, with Four Fingers, Royal Flush can be made from A K Q J or K Q J 10 of the same suit, or any four of A-10 when combined with Shortcut (Allows {{ph|Straights}} to be made with gaps of {{hl|orange|1 rank}} <br> {{hl|gray|(ex: {{hl|orange|10 8 6 5 3}})}} Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Shortcut.png). This doesn't have much influence on the score but can be used for unlocks like the Royale achievement and Brainstorm (Copies the ability of leftmost [[Jokers|{{hl|orange|Joker}}]] Discard a {{ph|Royal Flush}}.   • Similar things occur with Flush House and Flush Five, where only 4 of the cards need to be of the same suit. However, unlike straight flushes, the 5th card does still matter in terms of rank in order for the Full House/Five of a Kind hand type to be made.

• Shortcut (Allows {{ph|Straights}} to be made with gaps of {{hl|orange|1 rank}} <br> {{hl|gray|(ex: {{hl|orange|10 8 6 5 3}})}} Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Shortcut.png) makes straights and straight flushes easier to make as your straights can begin skipping ranks.
• Crazy Joker ({{Mult|+12}} if played hand contains a {{ph|Straight}} Common Additive Mult Independent Crazy Joker.png) and The Order ({{xmult|3}} if played hand contains a {{ph|Straight}} Win a run without playing a {{ph|Straight}}. Rare Multiplicative Mult Independent The Order.png) give additive and multiplicative Mult respectively when a Straight is played.
• Devious Joker ({{Chips|+100}} if played hand contains a {{ph|Straight}} Common Chips Independent Devious Joker.png) and Runner (Gains {{Chips|+15}} if played hand contains a {{ph|Straight}} <br> {{Currently|{{chips|+0}}}} Common Chips Mixed Runner.png) both give Chips when a Straight is played.
• Jokers that give bonuses from playing a Flush, like Crafty Joker ({{Chips|+80}} if played hand contains a {{ph|Flush}} Common Chips Independent Crafty Joker.png), Droll Joker ({{Mult|+10}} if played hand contains a {{ph|Flush}} Common Additive Mult Independent Droll Joker.png), and The Tribe ({{xmult|2}} if played hand contains a {{ph|Flush}} Win a run without playing a {{ph|Flush}}. Rare Multiplicative Mult Independent The Tribe.png), all become easier to activate.
• Square Joker (This Joker gains {{Chips|+4}} if played hand has exactly {{hl|orange|4}} cards <br> {{Currently|{{Chips|0}}}} Common Chips Mixed Square_Joker.png) can be scaled with straights and flushes when four cards are played.
• Séance (If [[Poker Hands|{{hl|orange|poker hand}}]] is a {{ph|Straight Flush}}, create a random [[Spectral_Cards|{{hl|sblue|Spectral}}]] card <br> {{room}} Uncommon Effect Independent Séance.png) can be easier to trigger since straight flushes are easier to get.
• Marble Joker (Adds one [[Stone Cards|{{hl|orange|Stone}}]] card to the deck when [[Blinds|{{hl|orange|Blind}}]] is selected Uncommon Effect On Blind Select Marble Joker.png) adds stone cards to the deck, which are extra useful, since they can now be used with 4-card flushes or straights to boost chip counts.
• Splash (Every {{hl|orange|played card}} counts in scoring Common Effect N/A (Passive) Splash.png) enables playing a 4-card hand with an additional card, such as a glass or lucky card.
• The Duo ({{xmult|2}} if played hand contains a {{ph|Pair}} Win a run without playing a {{ph|Pair}}. Rare Multiplicative Mult Independent The Duo.png), as well as other Jokers that activate if a hand contains a pair, have limited synergy with this Joker, as the effect of Four Fingers allows you to play Straights that include a Pair (ex: 10 9 9 8 7).
• Multiple Four Fingers do not stack. Multiple copies still require four cards to make straights and flushes.

• With Four Fingers, one Stone Card ({{chips|+50}}<br>no rank or suit Stone Card.png) can be scored when playing a Straight, Flush, or Straight Flush, as they can be made with 4 cards.

Four Fingers is slightly weaker than Shortcut (Allows {{ph|Straights}} to be made with gaps of {{hl|orange|1 rank}} <br> {{hl|gray|(ex: {{hl|orange|10 8 6 5 3}})}} Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Shortcut.png) in creating Straights^[1] and weaker than Smeared Joker ({{suit|Hearts}} and {{suit|Diamonds}} count as the same suit, {{suit|Spades}} and {{suit|Clubs}} count as the same suit Have at least {{hl|orange|3}} [[Wild Cards|{{hl|orange|Wild Card}}]] in your deck Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Smeared Joker.png) in creating Flushes. However, it can serve these purposes with just one Joker. The player can choose from these Jokers based on the play style of a run.

• In poker, card sets are called "hands", and the relevant hands here are normally five cards each, so "Four Fingers" is a reference to a hand that's short by one card/finger.
• The drawing on the joker is very similar to common cartoon hands, which often have only four fingers.
• According to LocalThunk, in the beta version of Balatro, Four Fingers is forced to show up on the tutorial seed, because it was an important joker to showcase the features of the game.^[2]
• This joker is thought by some players to be a reference to a popular "Loss" meme which originates from the Ctrl+Alt+Del webcomic by Tim Buckley. LocalThunk claims it is an unintentional reference.^[3]
