Sly Joker is a Common Chips Joker that provides +50 Chips when playing a Pair. This includes hands that include any two cards with the same rank, such as a Three of a Kind or a Full House.

• The Abandoned Deck ( Start run with no {{F|}}[[Card Ranks#Face cards|{{hl|orange|Face Cards}}]] in your deck Win a run with the {{D|Green}} on [[Stakes|any difficulty]] Abandoned Deck.png) and Mad World ( ), having fewer total cards in the deck, gives a higher chance of drawing a pair.
• The Erratic Deck ( All [[Card Ranks|{{hl|orange|Ranks}}]] and [[Suits|{{hl|orange|Suits}}]] in deck are randomized Win a run with any [[Decks|deck]] on the {{Stake|Orange}} difficulty or harder Erratic Deck.png) will have cards of a certain rank appear more than others.
• Plasma Deck ( Balance [[Chips|{{hl|blue|Chips}}]] and [[Mult|{{hl|red|Mult}}]] when calculating score for played hand <br> {{hl|red|X2}} base Blind size Win a run with any [[Decks|deck]] on the {{Stake|Blue}} difficulty or harder Plasma Deck.png) benefits from the large amount of chips, which, when balanced, greatly boost the score for the played hand.

Sly Joker triggers whenever there are two duplicate scoring cards, regardless of whether the hand itself is a "Pair". This means you can trigger Sly Joker if you play a Flush that contains two of the same card.

In an unmodified deck, Sly Joker triggers off of every hand in the game except for High Card, Flush, Straight, or Straight Flush.
