Amber Acorn is a showdown blind that flips all of the Jokers in possession so that they are face down and then they are shuffled into random positions in the joker panel.

• The Jokerless ( ) challenge bans Amber Acorn (). This is likely because there wouldn't be any Jokers for it to shuffle, meaning its effect would be rendered obsolete, making it just a normal Blind with a 2x base Blind size. In a similar fashion, Verdant Leaf ( Showdown Verdant Leaf.png) and Crimson Heart ( Showdown Crimson Heart.png) are also banned.
  • In Verdant Leaf's case, this is because its effect requires the player to sell a Joker, which is not possible due to the challenge's constraints.

• The player should carefully note as to what Jokers are triggered. If they have a Joker with XMult in possession, they should be moved to the right side of the panel to maximize the score. Lowering the game's speed in the settings may help with paying closer attention to the triggered Jokers.
• There are four Jokers which can still be distinguished while face down due to their unique shape, being the Square Joker (This Joker gains {{Chips|+4}} if played hand has exactly {{hl|orange|4}} cards <br> {{Currently|{{Chips|0}}}} Common Chips Mixed Square_Joker.png), Half Joker ({{Mult|+20}} if played hand contains {{hl|orange|3}} or fewer cards Common Additive Mult Independent Half Joker.png), Wee Joker (This Joker gains {{Chips|+8}} when each played {{hl|orange|2}} is scored <br> {{Currently|{{chips|+0}}}} Win a run in {{hl|orange|18}} or fewer rounds Rare Chips Mixed Wee Joker.png) and Photograph (First played {{hl|orange|face}} card gives {{xmult|2}} when scored Common Multiplicative Mult On Scored Photograph.png).
• If the player manages to grab and hold one of their Jokers right after they select the blind but before their Jokers are shuffled, said Joker will still be flipped, however it won't be shuffled. This allows the player to begin the blind while already knowing the position of one of their Jokers.
• Jokers like DNA (If {{hl|orange|first hand}} of round has only {{hl|orange|1}} card, add a permanent copy to deck and draw it to {{hl|orange|hand}} Rare Effect On Played DNA.png), Trading Card (If {{hl|orange|first discard}} of round has only {{hl|orange|1}} card, destroy it and earn {{Money|3}} Uncommon Economy On Discard Trading Card.png), and Loyalty Card ({{xmult|4}} every {{hl|orange|6}} hands played<br>{{hl|grey|5 remaining}} Uncommon Multiplicative Mult Independent Loyalty Card.png) are easy to locate as they still shake when their respective conditions are met.
• When a Joker that was made as a copy through Ankh (Create a copy of a random [[Jokers|{{hl|orange|Joker}}]], destroy all other Jokers <br> {{hl|gray|(Removes {{hl|edition|Negative}} from copy)}} Available from start. Spectral Ankh.png) or Invisible Joker (After {{hl|orange|2}} rounds, sell this card to {{hl|orange|Duplicate}} a random Joker <br> {{currently|{{hl|orange|0}}/2}} <br> {{hl|gray|(Removes [[Negative|{{hl|edition|Negative}}]] from copy)}} Win a run without ever having more than {{hl|orange|4 Jokers}} Rare Effect N/A (Passive) Invisible Joker.png) gets flipped by Amber Acorn, the back of the card will show as a Red Deck ( {{hl|red|+1}} discard every round Unlocked from start Red Deck.png) card.
• On Black Stake difficulty or higher (and in some Challenges), flipped Eternal () Jokers will have their price tag grayed out when selected. This can help the player narrow down or even pinpoint which Joker is which.
