Stone Cards are Enhanced playing cards that give 50 Chips when scored. Stone Cards are not counted as belonging to any suit or rank and cannot be used to form Poker Hands; however, they always score if included in a played hand. Stone Cards retain their original suit and rank under the enhancement, and it will be returned if their enhancement is changed, and it can also be changed (without revealing it) with
Strength (Increases rank of up to orange selected cards by orange Available from start. Tarot Strength.png),
The Moon (Converts up to orange selected cards to Clubs Available from start. Tarot The Moon.png),
The World (Converts up to orange selected cards to Spades Available from start. Tarot The World.png),
The Star (Converts up to orange selected cards to Diamonds Available from start. Tarot The Star.png), and
The Sun (Converts up to orange selected cards to Hearts Available from start. Tarot The Sun.png). Stone cards can be created a few different ways, including:
The Tower (Enhances orange selected card into a orange Available from start. Tarot The Tower.png) adds the Stone enhancement to 1 selected card.
Marble Joker (Adds one orange card to the deck when orange is selected Uncommon Effect On Blind Select Marble Joker.png) creates 1 Stone Card when a Blind is selected.
- Standard Packs can contain Stone Cards.
Illusion (orange in shop may have an sblue, edition, and/or a orange Buy a total of 20 Playing cards from the shop Upgraded Illusion.png) allows Stone Cards to appear in the shop.
Synergies
- High Card should be leveled up if playing a deck that contains only Stone Cards, as playing a hand of 5 Stone Cards will be counted as a High Card hand.
In general, smaller poker hands work better with Stone Cards as they allow more to be played in a given hand, and 5-card hands like Straights and Flushes cannot use Stone Cards unless the player also has the
Four Fingers (All Flushes and Straights can be made with 4 cards Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Four Fingers.png), in which case 1 Stone Card can be used as well.
Seals

Gold Seals (Earn 3 when this card is played and scores Gold Seal.png) can be added to give money when a Stone Card is played.

Red Seals (Retrigger this card orange time Red Seal.png) can be added to double the amount of chips given by a Stone Card.
Plasma Deck ( Balance blue and red when calculating score for played hand <br> red base Blind size Win a run with any deck on the Blue difficulty or harder Plasma Deck.png) is the best deck to utilize Stone Cards with, since they contribute significantly more score thanks to this deck's balancing mechanic.
Half Joker (+20 if played hand contains orange or fewer cards Common Additive Mult Independent Half Joker.png) can combine with the 20 Mult with the 50 Chips of Stone cards to give a lot of score value, but will limit the max number of cards that can be played to 3.
Stone Joker (Gives +25 for each orange in your orange <br> Uncommon Chips Independent Stone Joker.png) scales with each Stone Card added to your deck, giving a large number of Chips even when playing a hand that does not contain any Stone Cards, as long as they exist in your full deck.
Four Fingers (All Flushes and Straights can be made with 4 cards Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Four Fingers.png) allows a Stone Card to be scored when playing a Straight, Flush, or Straight Flush. However, leveling up these hands gives a solid amount of chips, so Stone Cards are usually not necessary.
Hanging Chad (Retrigger orange played card used in scoring orange additional times Beat a Boss Blind with a High Card Common Retrigger On Scored Hanging Chad.png) can retrigger a Stone Card 2 additional times, giving 150 Chips. This can be a massive boost in score, especially if your played poker hand is at a low level.
Seltzer (Retrigger all cards played for the next orange hands Uncommon Retrigger On Scored Seltzer.png) and
Dusk (Retrigger all played cards in orange of the round Uncommon Retrigger On Scored Dusk.png) can double the Chips given from each Stone Card. (
Sock and Buskin (Retrigger all played orange cards Play a total of orange face cards Uncommon Retrigger On Scored Sock and Buskin.png) can do the same if
Pareidolia (All cards are considered orange cards Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Pareidolia.png) is owned.)
The Idol (Each played [[Card Ranks|orange]] of [[Card Suits|orange]] gives 2 when scored<br><small>Card changes every round</small> In one hand, earn at least orange chips Uncommon Multiplicative Mult On Scored The Idol.png) cannot choose a Stone Card when selecting a random card from your deck. Stone Cards can be used in a similar way to other means of deck fixing to make The Idol more likely to land on your desired card.
Hiker (Every played orange permanently gains +5 when scored Uncommon Chips On Scored Hiker.png) can be used to continue to increase the value of each Stone Card.
- When debuffed by
The Pillar ( Boss The Pillar.png) or
Verdant Leaf ( Showdown Verdant Leaf.png), Stone Cards still score, but their suits and ranks will not be restored, which means they still cannot make hands or trigger
Blackboard (3 if all cards held in hand are Spades or Clubs Uncommon Multiplicative Mult Independent Blackboard.png) /
Flower Pot (3 if poker hand contains a Diamond card, Club card, Heart card, and Spade card Reach Ante level orange Uncommon Multiplicative Mult Independent Flower_Pot.png).
Anti-Synergies
The following hands must be made from five cards, and thus the player cannot squeeze in a Stone card to pad out their score:
*Unless holding
Four Fingers (All Flushes and Straights can be made with 4 cards Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Four Fingers.png).
Splash (Every orange counts in scoring Common Effect N/A (Passive) Splash.png) does not do anything for Stone Cards, as they share the same effect.
Blackboard (3 if all cards held in hand are Spades or Clubs Uncommon Multiplicative Mult Independent Blackboard.png) will not be activated if there are Stone Cards held in hand.
Strategy
Stone Cards are best utilized when playing low scoring poker hands, like High Card or Pair. They can supplement your Chips while your Jokers and hand levels provide Mult. They fall off in scoring potential towards the late game, so they're best used while you look for more Planet cards and scoring Jokers. If playing on the
Plasma Deck ( Balance blue and red when calculating score for played hand <br> red base Blind size Win a run with any deck on the Blue difficulty or harder Plasma Deck.png), Stone Cards have a lot more late game potential. While they will eventually be outpaced by Blind scaling, they can easily win you a run with the right setup.
Usage notes
- If stone enhancement is removed by
Vampire (This Joker gains 0.1 per scoring orange played, removes card orange <br> Uncommon Multiplicative Mult Mixed Vampire.png) during a hand, the card will not give +50 Chips, while it will always score for this hand (the type of hand played is not affected).
Medusa ( ) starts with an Eternal
Marble Joker (Adds one orange card to the deck when orange is selected Uncommon Effect On Blind Select Marble Joker.png) and 12 Stone Cards in your deck (all of them replacing Face Cards).
Trivia
- Due to the lack of basic chips, the "+50 Chips" in the Stone Cards description is actually extra chips. Therefore, chips granted by
Hiker (Every played orange permanently gains +5 when scored Uncommon Chips On Scored Hiker.png) will be directly added to it, rather than a separate "extra chips".
