Achievements

Achievements can be obtained for Balatro for certain platforms, with a total of 31 of them (32 for PlayStation). They are called "trophies" on PlayStation and "achievements" on Xbox, Google Play, and Steam. They are tied to a player's individual profile. There is no in-game effect or extra reward for achieving them, and they are only for a sense of accomplishment. Note that an achievement may only appear after a new run is started or won, and not immediately after the condition is reached.

There are various conditions to unlock achievements, with some of them being acquired through regular gameplay (ex. winning a run), while other ones require specific deliberate play styles (ex. having 80 cards in a deck). Unless specifically stated, any of the achievements can be attained on any Stake difficulty or Deck. This excludes Challenge Decks (except for Rule Bender and Rule Breaker), since most achievements would be trivialized due to the certain conditions they can provide.

There are five achievements that are linked to filling out the collection, requiring the player to unlock everything to enable this. Notably, some Joker, Voucher, and Deck unlocks are tied to the same conditions as certain achievements.

• Achievements can be unlocked after a run is won (i.e. finishing the Boss Blind on Ante 8), so a player can continue scaling their Jokers or improving their deck to reach a higher score.
• Despite Flushed's description being "Play a Flush with 5 Wild Cards (Can be used as any suit Wild Card.png)", the achievement can be obtained by playing 4 Wild Cards with Four Fingers (All {{ph|Flushes}} and {{ph|Straights}} can be made with 4 cards Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Four Fingers.png). However, it cannot be achieved by playing a Flush House or Flush Five with Wild Cards.
• Card Player and Card Discarder are achieved cumulatively, throughout the entirety of a player's Balatro playthroughs. It will be reached eventually, albeit with some time.
• Speedrunner requires the player to skip at least 12 Blinds in a standard 8 Ante run.
• ROI can be achieved using Hieroglyph ({{hl|orange|-1}} Ante, <br> {{hl|blue|-1}} hand each round Base Hieroglyph.png) and/or Petroglyph ({{hl|orange|-1}} Ante, <br> {{hl|red|-1}} discard each round Reach Ante 12 Upgraded Petroglyph.png) to get an extra Voucher before Ante 4.
  • The Voucher Tag ( Voucher tag.png) can also allow for an extra one to be purchased at the Shop.
  • However, decks that already start with Vouchers (e.g: Zodiac Deck ( Start run with {{V|Tarot Merchant|class=hl-purple}}, {{V|Planet Merchant|class=hl-cyan}}, and {{V|Overstock|class=hl-orange}} Win a run with any [[Decks|deck]] on the {{Stake|Red}} difficulty or harder Zodiac Deck.png)) do not count for this achievement.
