The House is a boss blind that draws the first hand of playing cards face down.

• Builds that do not rely on playing specific poker hands, but instead rely on Jokers, are particularly effective against The House.
• The Sort feature at the bottom of the screen can narrow down what the face-down cards are. Sorting by rank sorts in descending order, with Aces being the highest rank and 2s being the lowest. Sorting by suit sorts in the order of Spades, Hearts, Clubs, then Diamonds, with each suit being sorted by rank.
• You can briefly see face-down cards when using certain tarot or spectral cards, e.g., The Empress (Enhances {{hl|orange|2}} selected cards to [[Card Modifiers|{{hl|orange|Mult Cards}}]] Available from start. Tarot The Empress.png) or Ouija (Converts all cards in hand to a single random [[Card Ranks|{{hl|orange|rank}}]]<br>{{hl|red|-1}} hand size Available from start. Spectral Ouija.png).
• It is possible to see what cards are face down by playing the face down cards instead of discarding them. This is particularly helpful for seeing which kind of hand would be most likely to form, but you might be able to reach the score requirement if you need all hands to effectively score in order to beat the blind.

• The Icon for The House is the Phoenician letter Bet (𐤁), which represents a house in the hieroglyphics from which it is derived.
