The Flint is a boss blind that halves the Base Chips and Mult for the poker hands that were played in this round. For example, if the player plays a hand with a Straight (which would score 30 Chips x 4 Mult at level 1), those numbers would be halved, therefore resulting it in being 15 Chips x 2 Mult before scoring.

• The results of Chips and Mult will be rounded up, for example, a High Card with 5 Chips x 1 Mult will score 3 Chips x 1 Mult after halving.

• Strategies focused solely on Multiplicative Mult and leveling Hands are worse off, effectively having their final Mult halved.
  • To counter this, use a Joker that stacks a lot of Additive Mult, such as Supernova (Adds the number of times [[Poker Hands|{{hl|orange|poker hand}}]] has been played this run to Mult Common Additive Mult Independent Supernova.png) or Bootstraps ({{Mult|+2}} for every {{Money|5}} you have <br> {{Currently|{{Mult|+0}}}} Have at least {{hl|orange|2}} {{hl|edition|Polychrome}} Jokers at the same time. • Though the symbols and names of most of the Boss Blinds are based on the letters of the Phoenician alphabet, The Flint is an original creation by the developer, though it resembles the runic letter jera (ᛃ).
  • According to LocalThunk, the reason for inventing a new symbol for The Flint was to bring the total number of blinds from 29 to 30 for a neat Collection screen.^[1]
• If the base score of the hand played exceeds Flint's requirement before halving but not after, the flame effect will appear first and then disappear, which may be a bug.
