Strength is a Tarot card that allows the player to increase the rank of two cards by one each. For example, a 4 would become a 5, a 10 would become a Jack, a King would become an Ace, and an Ace would become a 2.

• To make many of the same rank for Poker Hands like Four of a Kind or Flush Five, or to make more of a desired rank for Jokers like Baron (Each {{hl|orange|King}} held in hand gives {{xmult|1.5}} Rare Multiplicative Mult On Held Baron.png) or Photograph (First played {{hl|orange|face}} card gives {{xmult|2}} when scored Common Multiplicative Mult On Scored Photograph.png), Strength is best used at the beginning, with Death (Select {{hl|orange|2}} cards, convert the {{hl|orange|left}} card into the {{hl|orange|right}} card<br>{{hl|gray|(Drag to rearrange)}} Available from start.   • This is because, for example, while a 10 only requires 1 Strength card to turn into a Jack, each lower rank requires more Strength cards to make the same rank. Turning two 8s into a Jack requires 3 Strength cards, but only 2 Death (Select {{hl|orange|2}} cards, convert the {{hl|orange|left}} card into the {{hl|orange|right}} card<br>{{hl|gray|(Drag to rearrange)}} Available from start. • When increasing the rank of face-down cards the cards will be briefly flipped. This can be used in a pinch to find out what a face-down card is.
• It should be noted that applying Strength on an Ace (a card rank that normally provides 11 Chips) will weaken it down to a card with a rank of 2 (which normally provides 2 Chips).

• Poker Hands that require 2 different ranks, like Two Pair and Full House, benefit the most from Strength, as there are more targets for it.
• Hands that require many of 1 rank like Four of a Kind and Flush Five also benefit from Strength, but have less targets for it.
• Straight benefits from consolidating lower ranks into higher ranks to make playing Straights more consistent, and from evening out the ranks if many of 1 Modified card was created through Death (Select {{hl|orange|2}} cards, convert the {{hl|orange|left}} card into the {{hl|orange|right}} card<br>{{hl|gray|(Drag to rearrange)}} Available from start. Tarot Death.png). However, this does not give many targets for Strength.

Any Joker that is based around having a certain rank of card in the deck benefits from Strength, but some Jokers benefit more:

• Odd Todd (Played cards with [[Card Ranks|{{hl|orange|odd}}]] rank give {{Chips|+31}} when scored <br> {{hl|gray|(A, 9, 7, 5, 3)}} Common Chips On Scored Odd Todd.png) and Even Steven (Played cards with [[Card Ranks|{{hl|orange|even}}]] rank give {{Mult|+4}} when scored <br> {{hl|gray|(10, 8, 6, 4, 2)}} Common Additive Mult On Scored Even Steven.png) affect every other rank of Aces and number cards, so Strength can be used on 20 different cards in a standard 52 deck to make them usable for these Jokers.
• Fibonacci (Each played {{hl|orange|Ace}}, {{hl|orange|2}}, {{hl|orange|3}}, {{hl|orange|5}}, or {{hl|orange|8}} gives {{Mult|+8}} when scored Uncommon Additive Mult On Scored Fibonacci.png) immediately benefits from Kings, 4s, and 7s being Strengthened into Aces, 5s, and 8s, meaning that 12 different cards in a standard 52 card deck are good targets for Strength.
• Walkie Talkie (Each played {{hl|orange|10}} or {{hl|orange|4}} gives {{chips|+10}} and {{mult|+4}} when scored Common Chips and Additive Mult On Scored Walkie_Talkie.png) makes 3 and 9 good targets for Strength, making it slightly better than Jokers that only affect 1 rank.

• When faced upright, the Strength tarot card is meant to represent "inner strength", "courage", and "willpower", especially through compassion and patience rather than brute strength. This is heavily reflected through the in-game function of increasing the rank of any two cards, even if just by one rank at a time, as increasing the power of a card even slightly can make a huge difference in a run.
