Interest

At the end of each round, $1 of interest is earned for every $5 the player has at the end of the round, with a cap of $5 each round (which means that any money over $25 won't generate interest). This incentivizes the player to save money up to a point.

Interactions

  • To the Moon gives an extra $1 interest for every $5 held at the end of a round.
  • Seed Money and its upgrade Money Tree increase the cap on earned interest to $10 and $20 respectively (which means that any money over $50 and $100 won't generate interest respectively). Large amounts of money can be gained per round by combining these vouchers with To the Moon.
  • Any economy Joker and Gold cards can help in getting more money and thus win more interest up to the cap. Note that economy Jokers that trigger once the round is already over (like Golden Joker and Rocket) don't count towards interest that round, whereas Gold Cards and Jokers that trigger before (like Reserved Parking) do count towards interest in the same round.
  • Green Deck, The Omelette, and Mad World have the property of not being able to gain Interest, making Seed Money, Money Tree, and To The Moon useless. Those cards are banned in The Omelette.
  • Yellow Deck starts with an extra $10, thus earning $2 of interest in the first round.
