Retcon is a voucher that allows the player to reroll the boss blind as much as they want for $10 per roll.

• The player must discover 25 Blinds to unlock Retcon.
• Director's Cut (Reroll [[Blinds|Boss Blind]] {{hl|orange|1}} time per Ante, {{Money|10}} per roll Base Director's Cut.png) must be purchased in the same run for Retcon to appear.

• Rerolling on Ante 8 (or a multiple of 8) will always roll a Showdown Blind, and other antes will always roll a normal Boss Blind.

• Green Deck ( At end of each Round: <br> {{Money|2}} per remaining {{hl|blue|Hand}} <br> {{Money|1}} per remaining {{hl|red|Discard}} <br> Earn no {{hl|orange|Interest}} Discover at least {{hl|orange|75}} items from your [[collection]] Green Deck.png) can allow you to gain more money in order to purchase then use this voucher.
• Yellow Deck ( Start with extra {{Money|10}} Discover at least {{hl|orange|50}} items from your [[Collection|collection]] Yellow Deck.png) may help you with the cost of this as well.

Any poker hands you have that are countered by the current boss blind can be avoided, by using this voucher. For example, The Plant ( Boss The Plant.png) can be changed into a boss that does not debuff a deck reliant on face cards.

• Matador (Earn {{Money|8}} if played hand triggers the {{hl|orange|Boss Blind}} ability Defeat a Boss Blind in {{hl|orange|1 hand}} without using any discards Uncommon Economy Independent Matador.png) can benefit depending on what the rerolled boss blind becomes, and your own deck.
• Having a strong economy with Jokers like To the Moon (Earn an extra {{Money|1}} of {{hl|orange|interest}} for every {{Money|5}} you have at end of round Uncommon Economy N/A (Passive) To the Moon.png), Satellite (Earn {{Money|1}} at end of round per unique {{hl|cyan|Planet}} card used this run Have at least {{Money|400}}. Uncommon Economy N/A (Passive) Satellite.png), Mail-In Rebate (Earn {{Money|5}} for each discarded [[Card Ranks|{{hl|orange|[rank]}}]], rank changes every round Common Economy On Discard Mail-In Rebate.png), etc. may be necessary to keep rerolling the Blinds since it's expensive.

• Chicot (Disables effect of every [[Blinds|{{hl|orange|Boss Blind}}]] Find this [[Jokers|Joker]] from the [[Spectral Cards|{{hl|sblue|Soul}}]] card. Legendary Effect On Blind Select Chicot.png) and Luchador (Sell this card to disable the current [[Blinds|{{hl|orange|Boss Blind}}]] Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Luchador.png) can disable the current boss effect, making this voucher less useful.
  • However, since Chicot’s ability to disable boss blinds allows you to gain Hand size if you have multiple of that card when facing The Manacle ( Boss The Manacle.png), it can be worth it to reroll for the Manacle. Unfortunately, due to this requiring you to have multiple Chicots, it is unlikely that this strategy can be viable.

• A Retcon, short for retroactive continuity, is when an established narrative is changed or rewritten afterwards. This voucher allows you to reestablish the "narrative" of the run by changing the Boss Blind unlimited times to the one you prefer so long as you have the money for it.
