Planet Cards

Planet Cards are a type of consumable you can obtain throughout a run. They can be obtained through Celestial Packs, Blue Seal (Creates the {{Planet|}} card for final played [[Poker Hands|{{hl|orange|poker hand}}]] of round if {{hl|orange|held}} in hand<br>{{room}} Blue Seal.png), two specific Tarot cards, and the Shop.

Planet Cards can level up their associated poker hand type by increasing the base value of chips and multiplier. Generally, the more difficult a hand is to play, the more chips and multiplier will be added from the Planet Card. There is no limit to how many times you can level up your poker hand. Poker hand levels are only kept for the duration of the run, and are reset each time you start a new one.

There are 12 different cards, however three of them - Eris (Increases {{ph|Flush Five}} hand value by {{mult|+3}} and {{chips|+50}} Play {{ph|Flush Five}} during the current run Planet Eris.png), Ceres (Increases {{ph|Flush House}} hand value by {{mult|+4}} and {{chips|+40}} Play {{ph|Flush House}} during the current run Planet Ceres.png), and Planet X (Increases {{ph|Five of a Kind}} hand value by {{mult|+3}} and {{chips|+35}} Play {{ph|Five of a Kind}} during the current run Planet Planet X.png) - are secret and not initially available through the methods mentioned above. There are no unlock conditions for Planet Cards, with the exception of the three secret planet cards, which can only be found in the shop after playing their associated poker hand type, and only for the rest of that specific run.

Discovering all 12 Planet Cards unlocks the Astronomer (All {{hl|cyan|Planet}} cards and {{hl|cyan|Celestial Packs}} in the shop are {{hl|orange|free}} Discover every {{Planet|}} card Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Astronomer.png) Joker.

• Nebula Deck ( Start run with the {{V|Telescope|class=hl-cyan}} voucher <br> {{hl|red|-1}} consumable slot Win a run with the {{D|Blue}} on [[Stakes|any difficulty]] Nebula Deck.png) starts with the Telescope ([[Booster Packs|{{hl|orange|Celestial Packs}}]] always contain the [[Planet Cards|{{hl|cyan|Planet}}]] card for your most played [[Poker Hands|{{hl|orange|poker hand}}]] Base Telescope.png) voucher and -1 consumable slot.
• Zodiac Deck ( Start run with {{V|Tarot Merchant|class=hl-purple}}, {{V|Planet Merchant|class=hl-cyan}}, and {{V|Overstock|class=hl-orange}} Win a run with any [[Decks|deck]] on the {{Stake|Red}} difficulty or harder Zodiac Deck.png) starts with the Planet Merchant ({{Planet|}} cards appear {{hl|orange|2X}} more frequently in the shop Base Planet Merchant.png), in addition to the Tarot Merchant ({{Tarot|}} cards appear {{hl|orange|2X}} more frequently in the shop Base Tarot Merchant.png) and Overstock ({{hl|orange|+1}} card slot available in shop Base Overstock.png) Vouchers.

• All poker hands directly benefit from their respective Planet card.
  • In general, a higher ranked poker hand will gain more + Chips and + Mult with each level increase.

• Constellation (This Joker gains {{xmult|0.1}} every time a [[Planet_Cards|{{hl|cyan|Planet}}]] card is used <br> {{currently|{{xmult|1}}}} Uncommon Multiplicative Mult Independent Constellation.png) gains X0.1 Mult every time a Planet card is used.
• Showman ([[Jokers|{{hl|orange|Joker}}]], [[Tarot Cards|{{hl|purple|Tarot}}]], [[Planet Cards|{{hl|cyan|Planet}}]], and [[Spectral Cards|{{hl|sblue|Spectral}}]] cards may appear multiple times Reach Ante level {{hl|orange|4}} Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Showman.png) allows Joker, Tarot, Planet, and Spectral cards to appear multiple times.
• Satellite (Earn {{Money|1}} at end of round per unique {{hl|cyan|Planet}} card used this run Have at least {{Money|400}}. Uncommon Economy N/A (Passive) Satellite.png) earns $1 at end of round per unique Planet card used during a run.
• Astronomer (All {{hl|cyan|Planet}} cards and {{hl|cyan|Celestial Packs}} in the shop are {{hl|orange|free}} Discover every {{Planet|}} card Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Astronomer.png) makes all Planet cards and Celestial Packs in the shop free.
• Perkeo (Creates a [[Negative|{{hl|edition|Negative}}]] copy of {{hl|orange|1}} random [[Consumables|{{hl|orange|consumable}}]] card in your possession at the end of the [[The Shop|{{hl|orange|shop}}]] Find this [[Jokers|Joker]] from the [[Spectral Cards|{{hl|sblue|Soul}}]] card. Legendary Effect N/A (Passive) Perkeo.png) can create a free negative Planet card in your consumable area, as long as you keep it there after you leave the Shop.

• The High Priestess (Creates up to {{hl|orange|2}} random [[Planet Cards|{{hl|cyan|Planet}}]] cards<br>{{room}} Available from start. Tarot The High Priestess.png) creates up to 2 random Planet cards. (Must have room)
• The Fool (Creates the last [[Tarot Cards|{{hl|purple|Tarot}}]] or [[Planet Cards|{{hl|cyan|Planet}}]] card used during this run<br><small>{{hl|purple|The Fool}} excluded</small> Available from start. Tarot The Fool.png) creates the last Tarot or Planet card used during a given run.

• Telescope ([[Booster Packs|{{hl|orange|Celestial Packs}}]] always contain the [[Planet Cards|{{hl|cyan|Planet}}]] card for your most played [[Poker Hands|{{hl|orange|poker hand}}]] Base Telescope.png) makes Celestial Packs always contain the Planet card for your most played poker hand. Observatory ([[Planet Cards|{{hl|cyan|Planet}}]] cards in your [[Consumables|{{hl|orange|consumable}}]] area give {{xmult|1.5}} for their specified [[Poker Hands|{{hl|orange|poker hand}}]] Use a total of {{hl|orange|25}} [[Planet|{{hl|cyan|Planet}}]] cards from any {{hl|cyan|Celestial Pack}} Upgraded Observatory.png) makes Planet cards in your consumable area give X1.5 Mult for their specified poker hand.
  • Crystal Ball ({{hl|orange|+1}} consumable slot Base Crystal Ball.png) gives an additional +1 consumable slot, potentially making Observatory ([[Planet Cards|{{hl|cyan|Planet}}]] cards in your [[Consumables|{{hl|orange|consumable}}]] area give {{xmult|1.5}} for their specified [[Poker Hands|{{hl|orange|poker hand}}]] Use a total of {{hl|orange|25}} [[Planet|{{hl|cyan|Planet}}]] cards from any {{hl|cyan|Celestial Pack}} Upgraded Observatory.png) even stronger.
• Planet Merchant ({{Planet|}} cards appear {{hl|orange|2X}} more frequently in the shop Base Planet Merchant.png) and Planet Tycoon ([[Planet Cards|{{hl|cyan|Planet}}]] cards appear {{hl|orange|4X}} more frequently in the shop Buy a total of 50 Planet cards from the shop Upgraded Planet Tycoon.png) make Planet cards appear 2X and 4X more frequently in The Shop.

• If a card with a Blue Seal (Creates the {{Planet|}} card for final played [[Poker Hands|{{hl|orange|poker hand}}]] of round if {{hl|orange|held}} in hand<br>{{room}} Blue Seal.png) is held at end of round, it creates the Planet card matching the final poker hand played. (Must have room)
  • This is helpful to consider when unlocking planet cards for the first time as it guarantees discovery.
  • Mime (Retrigger all card {{hl|orange|held in hand}} abilities Uncommon Retrigger On Held Mime.png) can retrigger Blue Seal (Creates the {{Planet|}} card for final played [[Poker Hands|{{hl|orange|poker hand}}]] of round if {{hl|orange|held}} in hand<br>{{room}} Blue Seal.png), giving an additional Planet card.

• Planets, like other Jokers and Consumables, normally can't have duplicates in the shop or Booster Packs without Showman ([[Jokers|{{hl|orange|Joker}}]], [[Tarot Cards|{{hl|purple|Tarot}}]], [[Planet Cards|{{hl|cyan|Planet}}]], and [[Spectral Cards|{{hl|sblue|Spectral}}]] cards may appear multiple times Reach Ante level {{hl|orange|4}} Uncommon Effect N/A (Passive) Showman.png) or Telescope ([[Booster Packs|{{hl|orange|Celestial Packs}}]] always contain the [[Planet Cards|{{hl|cyan|Planet}}]] card for your most played [[Poker Hands|{{hl|orange|poker hand}}]] Base Telescope.png). If all 12 Planets are unavailable, subsequent Planet spawns will always be Pluto (Increases {{ph|High Card}} hand value by {{mult|+1}} and {{chips|+10}} Available from start. Planet Pluto.png).
• A Royal Flush does not have a Planet Card associated with it because it levels up alongside a Straight Flush.

• In the Collection, the first nine planet cards are arranged by their order in the solar system.
• The top of the artwork on the card highlights the position of the planet in the solar system, except Planet X (Increases {{ph|Five of a Kind}} hand value by {{mult|+3}} and {{chips|+35}} Play {{ph|Five of a Kind}} during the current run Planet Planet X.png), which has no section highlighted.
• Similarly, the bottom of the artwork on the card shows the influenced hand type.
• On mouseover, all planet cards are classed as "Planet", except for Pluto (Increases {{ph|High Card}} hand value by {{mult|+1}} and {{chips|+10}} Available from start. Planet Pluto.png), Ceres (Increases {{ph|Flush House}} hand value by {{mult|+4}} and {{chips|+40}} Play {{ph|Flush House}} during the current run Planet Ceres.png), and Eris (Increases {{ph|Flush Five}} hand value by {{mult|+3}} and {{chips|+50}} Play {{ph|Flush Five}} during the current run Planet Eris.png), which are all classed as "Dwarf Planet"; and Planet X (Increases {{ph|Five of a Kind}} hand value by {{mult|+3}} and {{chips|+35}} Play {{ph|Five of a Kind}} during the current run Planet Planet X.png), which is classed as "Planet?".
• Even though Black Hole (Upgrade every [[Poker Hands|{{hl|purple|poker hand}}]] by {{hl|orange|1}} level Available from start. Spectral Black Hole.png) is not a planet card in and of itself, it is still stylized like a traditional planet card.
