The Friends of Jimbo 2 update is a free update released on Steam, consoles and mobile on 24 October 2024.

It has an associated trailer available on YouTube.

Main changes

Added more customisation options, allowing you to replace the face cards in your deck with:

  •  Spades: adds characters from Cyberpunk 2077
  •  Hearts: adds characters from The Binding of Isaac
  •  Clubs: adds characters from Slay the Spire
  •  Diamonds: adds characters from Stardew Valley

  • Removed CRT bloom option (caused battery drain)
  • Increased size of most text
  • Fixed bug where starting tags are always the same
  • Fixed bug where PC/Console buttons sometimes show up when selecting cards
  • Fixed bug where tooltips are sometimes outside of screen
  • Fixed bug where boss warning message was too high on screen
  • Fixed bug where new runs were always defaulting to White Stake
  • Fixed bug where holding+dragging tags created a graphical glitch
  • Fixed bug where holding+dragging blinds created a graphical glitch
  • Fixed bug where notch was sometimes covering achievement toasts on iOS
  • Fixed bug where sell price of jokers was shown on Amber Acorn boss
  • Fixed bug where buttons stay highlighted after they are pressed
