Use a screwdriver to pry along the center seam of the mouse.

Open the outer casing of the mouse.

Remove the wires from the white crimp headers in order to separate the upper and lower housing units of the mouse.

Take a q-tip and lightly remove any dirt or debris around the pin connections of the scroll wheel (circled in red).

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
